My name is Kelly, and I wanted to partner with vraniCURE for our Hastings Raiders merchandise because, during one of the hardest times in my life, they were there to lift me up.
I was diagnosed with Stage 1 breast cancer—more specifically, invasive ductal carcinoma with DCIS (HR-positive, HER2-negative)—on October 18, 2024, and underwent a bilateral mastectomy on December 6, 2024. Prior to my surgery, I was gifted a vraniCARE surgical package, and I was truly overwhelmed by the amount of love and support I felt from a company that didn’t even know me personally. It included everything I needed for surgery and recovery—and more.
That experience made me want to give back and support this incredible organization and their mission to fund metastatic breast cancer research. When I learned there was an opportunity to partner with them on apparel, I reached out right away. Jackie and Lisa have created amazing Hastings Raiders gear, and 100% of the proceeds go directly toward metastatic breast cancer research, education, and support.
