Meet Jacquelyn

Jacquelyn and her husband Kevin live in Minnesota with their four kids and dog, Buddy. At age 38, she went to her doctor for a routine physical and breast exam. During this appointment she told her doctor that something wasn’t quite right, call it woman’s intuition, so at her request she went for an early mammogram where a tumor was discovered and ultimately a diagnosis of stage iv metastatic breast cancer.

The devastation of this diagnosis lit a fire- to help change the fact that only 3% of all breast cancer research funding is for stage iv metastatic breast cancer - the only kind of breast cancer we die from. Her nonprofit vraniCURE exists to fund research for metastatic breast cancer while educating and bringing awareness to the disease while supporting those living with it.

Thank you, for coming on this journey with me!
